國際駕駛執照，簡稱IDP， 是一份允許持有人可以在任何已經於1949年日內瓦公約簽署的國家裡自由駕駛的文件。
國際駕駛執照必須在獲發本地駕駛執照的國家/地區簽發。
如何獲得國際駕駛執照？
使用者一定要在自己居住的國家獲發國際駕駛執照，海外申請是不被接立。
每一個國家都有指定機構或政府辦公室正式發放國際駕駛執照。有關官方發行人，請參閱下面的列表
每一個國際駕駛執照都會收取費用 — 20美元。
申請時需要有一份本地駕駛執照雙面的影印本。
2張護照照片(請在相片背後簽名)有機會在申請時用到。
申請可親身到指定辦事處處理。有些國家也可能允許郵寄申請。
預計旅行日前六個月或以上的IDP申請未必能獲簽發。

加拿大：（25.00加元＋郵費）
Canada Automobile Association
香港：（$ 80.00 港元）
填寫一份TD51表格，並將2張近期照和執照費用帶到任何一間駕駛執照中心。

I’m with China passport and I was living in Australia as a Permanent Resident, during that time I have obtained Australia driver license and IDP, since 2021 I moved back to China, just wondering am I eligible for car rental and driving in Japan using China passport + IDP issued in Australia? I remain Permanent Resident to Australia.

My apologies for the delayed response and thank you for your question.
Yes as long as you have a valid Australian driver’s license you should be eligible to get an IDP from Australia.
We have several customers from China who do this with other countries such as the Philippines.
